DIY Colourful Dangler Craft - Holi

Create a colourful hanging Holi dangler using a cardboard tube, paper streamers and decorative cut-outs. This activity helps children understand festive decorations while developing cutting, painting and creative arrangement skills.

Collect the Materials

ollect a cardboard tube, white paper, coloured chart papers, cotton thread and scissors. Keep all the materials ready before starting the activity.

Wrap the Tube

Wrap the cardboard tube with white paper using Fevicol Glue Drops to create a smooth surface for decorating.

Cut the Decorations

Cut long colourful strips from the coloured chart papers for the streamers. Cut cloud-shaped pieces from chart paper and colour them using Rangeela Tempera Metallic Colours.

Paint the Tube

Paint rainbow bands around the wrapped tube using Rangeela Tempera Metallic Colours. Allow the paint to dry completely.

Assemble the Dangler

Stick the coloured cloud shapes onto the painted tube using Fevicol Glue Drops. Attach the colourful paper streamers inside the bottom of the tube and thread the cotton string through the top to make a hanging loop.

Finish the Craft

Allow the craft to dry completely and check that all the decorations are secure. Your colourful Holi Rainbow Dangler is now ready to hang and display!
