Step - 01
To create bookmark, collect material like coloured chart papers, foam sheets, jute sheet & mount board.
Step - 02
To create a mixed media bookmark, take mount board as a base and draw the contour of a diagram, referring to the template given. Similarly, follow the same procedure and draw the diagrams of all elements on different substrates as shown.
Step - 03
Cut them with scissors. Using Rangeela Tempera Colour of your choice, paint the face with the help of fine art brushes and let it dry. Using a felt pen, draw the features onto the face, referring to the template given.
Step - 04
Using Fevistik Power, assemble the cutouts onto the base & let them dry.
Step - 05
To create a relief-like structure, take a tiny piece of mount board and stick it below the face. Assemble it onto the base as shown. To enhance the bookmark, decorate it with various materials such as ornamental stones of different shapes and sizes, buttons of different mediums, shapes, and sizes, and mirrors using Fevistik Power.
Step - 06
Using Fevistik power, stick the flap below to create a bookmark holder.
Step - 07
Your handmade bookmark is ready. Similarly, you can create different bookmark using Indian traditional forms of your choice or can refer to the template given.
