Diya Holder Craft for Diwali

Steps to Create this Activity

Step - 01

Fold newspaper sheets into wide strips in uniform thickness. Then quill the strips and seal the ends with Fevicol MR. Make enough such tight quills as these would form the base for the tealight holder.

Step - 02

Make 3 medium sized rings, 3 small tight quills.

Step - 03

Make 3 medium sized rings, 3 small tight quilled circles and a big tight quilled circle a seen in the final image

Step - 04

Now arrange the big circle as the base and the rings as shown in the final image. Stick them together using Fevicol MR.

Step - 05

Using the paints from the Fevicryl Range of Sparkling Colours paint the tealights beautifully. Leave them to dry. Decorate them further with different shaped mirrors and Fevicryl 3D Glitters of your choice.

For a more blingy and festive look dangle few mirrors within the circles
