White Chart Paper With Diagonal Patterns Drawn on It for Making Diwali Lantern

Step - 01

To create a lantern, draw the diagram referring to template given, with the help of pencil and scale.

Cut Outs Made of White Chart Paper

Step - 02

Cut it with paper cutter/scissors. Now fold the flaps with the help of scale.

Coloured Kite Paper Cutouts Stuck on the Chart Paper

Step - 03

Now take any 3 coloured kite papers cut out shapes as shown. Using Fevistik,, stick the cut outs on the reverse side as shown and let it dry.

Coloured Kite Paper Cut Into Strips for Diwali Lantern

Step - 04

Cut some colourful strips and stick it as shown in the image.

Elements of Lantern Assembled Using Glue

Step - 05

Now take the kite paper and cover the lantern from behind as seen, for better finish. Using Fevistik.

Diwali Lantern Craft Is Ready

Step - 06

Using Fevistik, seal the edges to create lantern. Now cut a chart paper strip to create lantern holder and stick using Fevicol A+. Personalised decorative lantern is ready.
