Step - 01

Take a carton, cut out all the four windows and the flaps too. Sponge dab it with a colour of your choice. Take a drawing sheet, draw a template of an equilateral triangle with extra flaps for sticking later. Make small mosaic type of triangles inside the 4 sides of the pyramid (equilateral triangle).

Step - 02

Place an OHP sheet over the entire design and outline it with a 3D Outliner of your choice. Leave it to dry completely. Fill in glass colours of your choice to make it look as colourful as possible.

Step - 03

Fold the painted OHP sheet along the design marks to form a proper pyramid structure and secure the edges with Fevicol Ele. Stick the pryramids from the inside of the coloured carton so that the pyramid protrudes out as seen in the image. Your lantern is ready.

Step - 04

To enhance it, take a white card paper, sponge dab it on both sides with colours of your choice. Cut it lengthwise in strips and stick it towards the base of the lantern that has been made with Fevicol Ele. Make a hole on the top part of the carton so that a decorative thread can be tied for hanging.
