Procure the base

Step - 01

We will make an easy yet unique poster for Janmashtami. Start by taking an A-4 size Blue Card Paper, 2 Whole Potatoes, and Fevicryl Rangeela Tempera Unicorn Colours pack. Refer to the image.

Apply paint

Step - 02

Chop the potato in 2 halves and paint them with two different colours using the paint brush. You can pick any color of your choice. Refer to the image.

Stamp the potato

Step - 03

To make the body figures of the people, we will stamp the potatoes in alternate colours. Check closely if all the stamps have been coloured evenly. Let it dry. Refer to the image.

Thumb Impressions

Step - 04

Apply some black colour on your thumb and press it on the potato for head impression. Let it dry. Refer to the image.

Add finishing touches

Step - 05

Paint the handi (Earthen pot) of dahi and the ropeway. To make the crowd look complete, draw hands and legs using a pen. Refer to the image.
