Steps to Create this Activity

Step - 01

Take two A4 size OHP sheets. Draw four trapeziums as shown, each measuring 4cm x 20cm x 7cm using scale and CD marker.

Step - 02

Now take some comic strips printouts of good quality. Using scissors, cut the printouts according to diagram made on OHP sheet.

Step - 03

Using Fine Art Brush apply a uniform layer of Fevicol A+ on the printed side. Now stick it on the OHP sheet as shown. Let it dry for approximately 2 hours.

Step - 04

Sprinkle some water on the back side of the print to make the surface wet. Now softly scrub out the upper layer of paper with your hand or sponge over the print. The print will be transferred giving a translucent effect with the print on the OHP sheet.

Step - 05

Using scissors cut the diagram and fold the flaps as shown. Follow the same process for the other pieces.

Step - 06

Now apply Fevicol A+ on the folded flaps to create a lamp.

Step - 07

Using single paper punch, create holes near the top edge of each side of the lamp and tie thick cobbler cord as shown. Your comic lamp is ready!
