Draw the Frame

Draw the cat-shaped photo frame on the corrugated sheet.

Cut the Frame

Carefully cut out frame including the photo opening.

Create the Base

Crumple the newspaper and stick it onto the cardboard with Fevicol MR to create a base

Cover the Frame

Tear the tissue paper into small pieces. Create a mixture of Fevicol MR and water. Use a paintbrush to apply the mixture onto the newspaper base. Stick and layer the tissue paper to cover the entire base.

Paint

Paint the entire frame white using colours from the Fevicryl Carnival Pack or YUDU Poster Colours. Let it dry thoroughly. Then, paint details like the eyes and stripes with the colours of your choice!

Finish the Frame

Allow the frame to dry completely before placing your favourite photograph inside. Using the same technique, create more animals! Your colourful Cat Paper Mache Frame is now ready to display.
