Steps to Create this Activity

Step –1

Procure the base - Let us make a swing for birds for decoration purposes for Vasant Panchami. Take a corrugated sheet and draw a house using a pencil on it.

Step –2

Trace the bird - Take a pencil and trace the design of a bird on a small, corrugated sheet.

Step –3

Cut and paint the design - Take scissors and cut the design by the outlines. Pick Fevicryl Acrylic Colours and paint the base with White. Let it dry.

Step –4

Paint the cutouts - Take Fevicryl Acrylic Colours and paint the bird house in Yellow Colour. Take the bird and paint it using vibrant shades of colours.

Step –5

Decorate the house - Take the assorted mirrors and stick them on the borders of the house using Fevicol MR to enhance the look. Let it dry for a while. Prick a hole in the center top of the house and insert a black thread with 4-5 beads and tie a knot at the end to hang it. At the base of the house, cut a slit to let the bird sit.

Step –6
