Republic Day Army Cap Crafted with Simple Materials

Encourage kids to craft their own army caps as a tribute to India’s military history and national pride. This simple DIY project involves using fabric, paper, or other materials to create army-style caps that can be worn during national holidays like Republic Day or Independence Day.

Steps to Create this Activity

Step - 01

Take sheet of green coloured chart paper and draw the diagram referring to template given.

Step - 02

Cut the template using scissors

Step - 03

Fold the flaps with the help of scale and paper cutter

Step - 04

Now draw military camouflage design with the help of pencil, on the reverse side of the template.

Step - 05

Using Rangeela Tempera Colour/ Fevicryl Acrylic Colour of your choice, paint the camouflage with the help of fine art brushes and let it dry.

Step - 06

Using Fevicol A+, seal the flaps to create cap structure and let it dry

Step - 07

Fold the flaps with the help of scale to create cap holder

Step - 08

Using Fevicol A+, stick the flaps inwards connecting to the cap as shown. Handmade military cap is ready!
