Step –1

Procure the base

We will make an aquatic themed pen stand for children. Take a rectangular corrugated box for the base of the pen stand, seashells and sand and paper threads. Refer to the image.

Paint the base

Take Rangeela Tempera Colours and paint the base of the corrugated sheet like a water effect, starting from light and moving into dark blue.

Step –3

Create the design

Take pink coloured felt sheets and draw the design of the octopus on it. Cut the design out with scissors.

Stick the cutouts

Take the cutouts of the felt sheet and stick them together using Fevistik Power. At last, stick the googly eyes of the octopus using Fevistik Power. Let it dry.

Step –5

Decorate the box

Take the rectangular corrugated base and paint small fishes in the water of the blue base. Take seashells and water sand granules and stick them around the base layer using Fevistik Power. It gives a complete aquatic theme look to the pen stand. Let it dry.

Step –6

Add the finishing touches

Take the octopus paper cutout and stick it to the upper edge of the pen stand on one side. Let it dry.

Step – 7

Final look

This is how you can curate a unique aquatic theme-based pen stand.
