1. Talk & Think
Discuss what’s under the ground we walk on and why the layers of the Earth look and feel different.
2. Prepare the Page
Each student uses A3 paper with a downward-pointing triangle outline. Divide it into five horizontal bands, one for each layer.
3. Build the Layers
Fill each band with different materials and techniques to represent the Inner Core, Outer Core, Mantle, Asthenosphere, and Crust.
4. Reflect and Share
Display all Earth triangles as a gallery wall. Ask students guiding questions about the materials and what surprised them.
