Cardboard Sheet Is Used for Making Art Tray and Coaster

Step - 01

To create an Aipan coaster, take a corrugated sheet and cut out a square measuring 15 cm approximately.

Cardboard Sheet Is Painted White

Step - 02

Using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White, paint the cut-out with Fine Art brushes and let it dry.

Cardboard Sheet Is Painted Red

Step - 03

Using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Red, paint the cut-out with Fine Art brushes and let it dry.

Aipan Design Is Drawn on the Cardboard Sheet

Step - 04

Referring to the template given, draw the Aipan design with a white pencil.

Cobbler Coard Is Stuck to the Cardboard Sheet

Step - 05

Using Fevicol A+, stick cobbler cord as shown in the design image (in spiral form) and let it dry. Your handmade Aipan coaster is ready!

Aipan Art Made on an Upcycled Tray

Step - 06

Similarly, you can create Aipan form onto any upcycled tray available by following the same method.
