Steps to Create this Activity

Step - 01

Draw the scale on a chart paper with a marker

Step - 02

Cut it out with the help of safety scissors

Step - 03

Take different coloured chart papers

Step - 04

Draw snakes of different length on each chart paper

Step - 05

Cut it out with the help of safety scissors

Step - 06

Similarly, do the same for other snakes too. See to it that all the snakes should be of different length

Step - 07

Take a barbecue stick and tie a woolen thread around it such that it reaches throughout the chart paper. Tie a small bead on the other end of the woolen thread

Step - 08

Create grids as shown with the quilling strips and stick them with Fevicol MR. Stick the rest of the elements with Fevicol MR

Step - 09

Insert the thread in the left corner of the chart paper, measure the snakes and write its measurements in the space provided with a felt pen
