Create Earth Model Project by Using Plastic Balls

Step - 01

To create an Earth model structure, gather smiley and plastic balls in descending size as shown in the image.

Form the Structure of the Earth Model by Cutting the Ball into Two Pieces

Step - 02

With the help of a paper cutter, divide the sphere into halves as shown in the image, and poke a hole in the centre of each cutout. Then, using Acrylic Color of your choice, paint the cutouts to represent the Earth's core layers, as shown in the image, using fine art brushes & let it dry.

Insert the Plastic Ball Cutouts into the Barbecue Stick to Create the Earth Model Structure

Step - 03

Take a barbecue stick and insert it through the cutouts as shown in the image.

Take Upcycled Box to Make a Base of the Earth Model

Step - 04

To create the base for the Earth core structure, use an upcycled box that is proportionate to the structure made.

Use the Acrylic Colour to Paint the Base of Earth Model

Step - 05

Using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour of your choice, paint the box with the help of fine art brushes, and let it dry. To create a galaxy effect, dip a toothbrush into the color of your choice and sprinkle it onto the box as shown in the image. Then, let it dry completely.

Create Textures on the Earth Model Project

Step - 06

To create textures on the Earth core cutouts, use colored sand of your choice, ensuring it's a similar shade to the one painted. Using Fevistik Power, stick the sand onto the cutouts randomly as shown in the image. To create a holder for the structure, take a corrugated sheet and roll it into a coil. Seal the edges using Fevistik Power and let it dry. using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour of your choice, paint the coils with the help of fine art brushes,. using Fevistik Power, stick the coil structure to both ends as shown in the image.ends as shown in the image.

Create Labels of the Earth Layer Model using Colored Chart Paper

Step - 07

To create labels for each layer of the Earth core, take colored chart paper of your choice and cut it into small strips. Write text over each strip using a felt pen. For example: "Sea Level," "Crust," "Mantle," "Inner Core," and "Outer Core."

Handmade DIY Earth Model Project Is Ready!

Step - 08

Take any cord and create a holder, then tie it up to the structure. Your handmade DNA model is ready!
