DIY Lantern Craft Activity for Kids

Steps to Create this Activity

Step - 01

To create lamp, take plastic bottle & cut them into half as shown. With the help of paper cutter poke holes the edges of bottle I.e., above and below. Now take flower wire and cut out two small pieces as shown

Step - 02

Now to stitch the bottles take flower wire pass them through the holes created and lock it as shown.

Step - 03

Create a flower like shape following the same procedure.

Step - 04

Now take any 4 coloured kite papers of your choice and cut out a strip with width measuring 2” approx. Now with the help of scissors cut out fringes to each strip as shown

Step - 05

Using Fevicol A+, stick the cut out by overlapping one another as shown and let it dry. Now to create lamp holder take flower wire create a huge hanger like shape and attach the structure made. Handmade lantern is ready!
